In the heart of the Venetian countryside, surrounded by rivers, wild herbs, and medicinal fields, we invite you to slow down and join a 6-days, 7-nights creative journey guided by Cantieri Creativi and A.Vetra.

This immersive course is an invitation to reconnect with ancestral knowledge through the rhythms of nature and the land. We will begin by extracting color from local plants, creating a personal journal that gathers the delicate hues of each species. Step by step, we’ll explore the processes of scouring, mordanting, and dyeing, and move into the creation of handmade inks for painting and textile printing, while also engaging in creative experimentation through techniques such as tie-dye, bundle dye and painting with modifiers.

You will carve your own woodblocks to design original patterns, practicing traditional printmaking techniques that are slowly disappearing. We’ll also work with local clay to create a mud-resist print, honoring a technique rooted in the earth and passed down through time.

Over the course of the week, your hands will move through soil, pigment, fruits, leaves, and branches, guided by nature’s quiet pace.

This is more than a workshop, it’s a transformative experience, one that nourishes your creativity, senses, and presence.
